Chief Financial Officer - Investment group

Onsite | Los Angeles - Beverly Hills

Compensation: $300,000–$500,000 base salary + performance-based bonus

We are partnered with a private investment platform on the search for a Chief Financial Officer. This is a hands-on finance leadership role responsible for owning deal execution, cash forecasting, reporting, and the financial infrastructure that supports a growing and active investment operation.

Reporting directly into senior leadership, this role sits at the center of decision-making and execution. The organization is seeking a CFO who operates close to the work—someone who brings rigor, structure, and judgment to complex financial and legal environments while building scalable, modern processes.

The Mandate

They are not seeking a traditional, backward-looking finance leader focused primarily on historical reporting and routine close cycles.
They are seeking a hands-on operator who can partner on deal execution, maintain real-time visibility into cash and risk, and build systems that allow leadership to move quickly and confidently.

Key Responsibilities

Own cash forecasting, capital planning, and liquidity management
Partner closely with leadership on deal execution, structuring, and financial diligence
Build and refine financial and operational processes to support growth and complexity
Oversee reporting with clarity, accuracy, and strong internal controls
Collaborate with legal, tax, and external advisors
Leverage automation and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency and insight
Serve as a trusted financial and strategic partner to leadership

Ideal Profile

Senior finance leader with experience in private investments, transactions, or complex operating environments
Strong command of cash management, forecasting, and financial modeling
Comfortable operating at the intersection of finance, legal, and operations
Process-oriented, detail-driven, and highly accountable
Forward-thinking mindset with interest in automation and modern financial systems
Able to operate onsite and closely with leadership
