TxTCharlie Automotive Group is a high-end, performance-driven dealership group specializing in exotic and luxury vehicles (Porsche, Bentley, Ferrari, Bmw and more).We are also a franchise dealer for Morgan Motor Cars out of the UK. We operate across multiple divisions including retail, wholesale, service, body, and real estate, and we do over $160M+ in annual sales with strong profitability.
We are now entering a major growth phase, including the acquisition of a Kia franchise dealership, and we’re building the financial infrastructure to support a multi-rooftop, franchise-level organization.
Role Summary
We’re hiring a hands-on, franchise-capable CFO who understands dealership operations at a deep level — floorplan, OEM statements, working capital, internal controls, and lender/OEM reporting.
This role is not a “monthly financials” job. We need a CFO who runs the business through:
- daily cash control
- working capital discipline
- floorplan oversight
- clean close cadence
- and real-time reporting that drives decisions
You’ll partner directly with ownership and build the financial operating system that supports both highline performance and franchise scale.

What Success Looks Like
Within the first 90 days, you will:
- Implement daily visibility into real cash and financial exposure
- Tighten controls around payables, flooring, funding, and approvals
- Establish predictable reporting and close cadence
- Support the financial side of the Kia franchise acquisition and integration
- Build a finance structure that reduces dependency on ownership
Key Responsibilities
Cash, Liquidity, and Working Capital
- Own daily cash management and build a real cash reporting system
- Build and maintain 13-week cash forecasts and rolling projections
- Improve working capital: inventory aging, funding timelines, AP discipline, AR control
- Identify and eliminate cash leak points across departments
Franchise + OEM Financial Support (Kia Acquisition and Beyond)
- Support acquisition transition and ongoing OEM financial requirements
- Ensure accurate and compliant reporting for OEM programs, metrics, and audits
- Build KPI reporting across franchise rooftops and departments
- Support finance operations across multiple entities and stores as the group expands
Floorplan + Banking + Lenders
- Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and floorplan providers
- Optimize floorplan utilization, curtailments, interest expense, and capital structure
- Prepare lender packages, OEM packages, and executive-level financial reporting
Controls, Accountability, and Risk Management
- Strengthen internal controls, approvals, segregation of duties, and compliance
- Implement systems to prevent errors, overspending, and financial blind spots
- Drive disciplined expense management across all departments
Reporting + Operating Rhythm
- Build dashboards and KPI scorecards for ownership (simple, fast, accurate)
- Create department-level P&Ls and profitability by division
- Improve reporting accuracy and reduce close time
- Provide decision support for growth initiatives, capital allocation, and real estate projects
Leadership + Team Development
- Lead and develop the finance team (Controller/Comptroller + staff)
- Hire or upgrade roles as needed to build a franchise-ready finance department
- Drive accountability, urgency, and high standards within the accounting function
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of senior finance leadership experience in automotive
- Franchise dealership group experience strongly preferred
- Deep experience with:
- Floorplan financing
- OEM financial statements / reporting
- Cash management and working capital discipline
- Multi-entity accounting
- Banking and lender relationships
- Internal controls and financial process improvement
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with Dealertrack
- High integrity, high energy, and comfortable in a fast-paced, owner-driven environment

Compensation
- $250K + Depending on Experience
- KPI Bonus: meaningful upside tied to execution and measurable outcomes
- Bonus structure will be discussed based on experience and performance expectations
