Sun Scientific is seeking a Director of Sales Operations to drive operational excellence across our commercial organization. This role serves as a hands-on operator and trusted partner to sales leadership, responsible for improving processes, strengthening communication, and ensuring initiatives move from concept to execution.
We’re looking for someone who gets results, embraces continuous improvement, and can communicate effectively across sales, operations, and clinical workflows — including RX and progress note specifics. This is not a purely technical role, but it does require strong digital fluency and business judgment.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with sales leadership to implement operational improvements that support growth and efficiency
- Own and optimize sales operations processes, systems, and reporting (CRM or similar platforms)
- Support and enable accurate handling of RX-related workflows and progress note communication
- Facilitate sales planning, forecasting, pipeline reviews, and performance tracking
- Identify KPIs and develop clear, timely reporting to support data-driven decision making
- Analyze workflows to identify gaps, remove obstacles, and improve productivity
- Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and scalable operating models
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, and clinical stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement through disciplined execution and follow-through
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communicator with the ability to translate between business, operational, and clinical audiences
- Digitally adept and comfortable working across multiple systems, tools, and datasets
- Solid business acumen with an execution-first mindset
- 3+ years experience in Sales Operations, Operations, Process Improvement, or similar roles
- Backgrounds may include operations, business systems, paralegal work with strong digital skills, or computer science paired with real business experience
- Self-starter who takes ownership, manages stakeholders effectively, and ensures work gets completed
