Our work includes individual travel, curated group travel experiences, and large-scale travel programs such as full-yacht charters and full-hotel buyouts. The Role
Parea Travel is seeking a Sr. Manager, Sales Operations to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of client travel programs. This role is responsible for owning execution across the full lifecycle of each experience, from initial program planning through on-site execution and post-program wrap-up. The Sr. Manager, Sales Operations serves as the central point of accountability for operational excellence, timelines, and execution standards across multiple concurrent programs. This position reports directly to the founders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, systems-oriented, and comfortable operating with significant autonomy and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Execution
- Own end-to-end delivery of Parea Travel programs, including: full-charter yacht programs, group travel experiences, and individual and family travel
- Partner with clients to design high-level program structure and day-by-day flow
- Translate program vision into executable plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Manage multiple concurrent programs with varying levels of complexity
Vendor & Partner Management
- Source, evaluate, and manage global vendors including hotels, yachts, DMCs, transportation providers, entertainment, events, and F&B partners
- Coordinate vendor proposals, approvals, timelines, and logistics
- Serve as the operational liaison between clients and vendors
- Proactively identify risks and resolve issues as they arise
Client Communication
- Act as the primary client contact following contract execution
- Manage ongoing communication, expectations, and change requests
- Ensure clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the process
Systems, Process & Reporting
- Own and maintain Parea Travel’s internal operating system, primarily in Notion
- Develop and refine SOPs, templates, workflows, and reporting structures
- Provide regular status updates to leadership on active programs
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes
- Coordinate and direct internal or external administrative support as needed
What Success Looks Like
- Programs are delivered on time, on budget, and to a consistently high standard
- Multiple programs run in parallel without operational friction
- Issues are identified early and addressed proactively
- Senior leadership remains focused on strategy and relationships, not execution
- Clear systems exist so delivery quality improves with scale
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in travel operations, program management, or complex event operations
- Experience managing high-touch clients and external vendors
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working directly with founders or senior executives
- Ability to operate independently and make sound judgment calls
- Fluency in Notion or demonstrated ability to quickly master operational tools
Relevant backgrounds may include luxury hospitality, high-end travel or events, agency or executive operations roles.
Compensation & Employment Details
- Base salary: $70,000–$75,000, commensurate with experience
- Bonus: Performance-based
- This position is full-time, exempt, and at-will, in accordance with applicable U.S. employment laws
- Compensation, responsibilities, and scope may evolve based on business needs and individual performance
