Muskoka Chair Company is looking for a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Summer Sales Associate to join our Port Carling team for the busy cottage season. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer interaction, wants hands-on experience in sales and operations, and is excited to learn how a growing lifestyle brand runs behind the scenes.
You’ll be working directly with customers while also supporting light administrative and logistical tasks — making this a great opportunity to build real-world experience in sales, marketing, and small-business operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting customers in-store with product knowledge, sales, and order inquiries
- Providing a warm, welcoming, and premium customer experience
- Supporting order processing, basic logistics coordination, and inventory checks
- Helping manage customer emails, follow-ups, and sales documentation
- Assisting with general admin tasks to support the sales and operations team
- Supporting marketing initiatives when needed (events, promotions, social media support)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset (but not required!)
