Commence Fence is a fast-growing, premium fencing company built on systems, accountability, and execution.
We are hiring one Operations & Sales Administrator to act as:
- The gatekeeper of the sales pipeline
- The first line of qualification
- The enforcer of CRM and billing discipline
- A revenue-protecting operator, not an order taker
When this role is done well:
- Close rates increase
- Sales time is protected
- Cash flow stays clean
- Chaos is eliminated

- Sales slows

Core Responsibilities1. Lead Qualification & Sales Gatekeeping (Primary Responsibility)
You will:
- Answer inbound calls with confidence and authority
- Respond to CRM leads quickly and consistently
- Qualify prospects on:
- Budget
- Timeline
- Decision-making authority
- Intent
- Disqualify tire-kickers without hesitation
- Schedule only decision-ready, high-intent site visits
- Protect the sales calendar aggressively
- Follow up relentlessly and intelligently on qualified leads
Your performance directly impacts close rate and revenue.
2. Scheduling & CRM Discipline
You will:
- Schedule site visits only after qualification
- Maintain clean, accurate CRM records
- Track lead status, follow-ups, and outcomes
- Ensure no qualified lead is lost
- Enforce process discipline consistently
Sloppy CRM = failure in this role.
3. Bookkeeping & Financial Administration
You will:
- Handle invoicing and payment tracking
- Support bookkeeping and financial admin
- Ensure billing accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain clean, organized financial records
Accuracy matters. Mistakes cost money.
4. Customer Communication & Follow-Up
You will:
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally
- Set expectations without over-explaining
- Maintain a high-trust, high-standards customer experience
- Follow up until there is a clear outcome (yes, no, or later)

Required Experience
You must have real experience in:
- Administrative or operations roles with accountability
- Customer-facing phone work
- Sales support, lead qualification, or pipeline management
- Bookkeeping or financial administration
- CRM systems (Zoho preferred, not required)
Strong communication and follow-through are mandatory.

This is an outcome-based role.
You will be evaluated on:

- Quality of scheduled site visits
