You’re comfortable partnering cross-functionally to keep deals moving smoothly and compliantly, with a sharp eye for pricing, contract details, and process improvement. You care deeply about accuracy, scalability, and helping revenue teams operate at their best.
THE ROLE
The Deal Desk Manager owns and optimizes the Sales Order Process (SOP) from opportunity through contract execution. This role partners with Marketing, Sales, Customer Support and Finance to ensure accurate pricing, compliant contracting, high-quality CRM data, and seamless handoff for activation and billing. The role ensures commercial structures and system data support accurate provisioning, reporting, and forecasting.
What You’ll Do
Cross-Functional Partnership & Commercial Support
- Act as the primary commercial liaison between Marketing, Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Support, and Finance to ensure deal accuracy and smooth execution
- Support deal execution through pricing, discounting, and deal structuring guidance
Deal Execution & Governance
- Own and continuously improve the end-to-end Sales Order Process
- Prepare and manage quotes, order forms, statements of work, pricing schedules, discounting, and amendments
- Coordinate contract reviews and approvals with Legal
- Track and analyze commercial drivers for new business, expansions, renewals, and churn
Process, Systems & Controls
- Own HubSpot deal data integrity, ensuring accuracy of contract values, pricing, billing terms, start and end dates, amendments, and activation milestones
- Ensure HubSpot data supports downstream financial reporting, forecasting, provisioning, and budgeting
- Confirm contractual and billing requirements are complete prior to handoff for activation and invoicing
- Identify and drive process improvements across deal desk, Sales tech stack, activation, and revenue workflows
- Maintain documentation and controls to support scalability and audit readiness
- Participate in ad hoc projects and continuous process improvement initiatives
Must Have Skills And Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations
- Experience supporting B2B or SaaS sales organizations
- Strong understanding of pricing, discounting, and contract structures
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot (deal objects, custom properties, workflows, and reporting)
- Experience with contract tools such as PandaDoc or similar (preferred)
- Ability to interpret contracts and statements of work and translate them into accurate operational data
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented, process-driven mindset with a focus on accuracy, scalability, and controls
