- Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced Tester Role Overview The Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced Tester is responsible for validating and ensuring the quality of Salesforce Revenue Cloud solutions (CPQ, Billing, Advanced Revenue Management).
- This role involves creating test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating with development and business teams to deliver defect-free implementations.
- Key Responsibilities Design and execute test plans for Salesforce Revenue Cloud components including CPQ, Billing, and Revenue Management. Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing. Validate CPQ configurations, pricing rules, discount structures, and billing processes. Perform end-to-end testing of Quote-to-Cash workflows including renewals and amendments. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to identify and resolve defects. Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards during testing. Document test results and provide detailed defect reports. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support production deployments. Continuously improve testing processes and tools for efficiency and coverage.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Required Skills & Experience Experience: 4+ years in software testing with at least 2+ years in Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ & Billing).
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies including functional, integration, and regression testing. Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing tools and automation frameworks
- Understanding of CPQ configuration, pricing, and billing processes. Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira). Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Preferred Profile Salesforce certifications such as Revenue Cloud Consultant or QA-related certifications.
- Experience with ERP integrations and testing middleware connectivity. Background in financial operations or revenue recognition compliance. Knowledge of performance and load testing for large-volume transactions.
