Position Overview
The Business Operations Analyst - Rental ensures operational excellence and profitability for the rental fleet. This role is responsible for optimizing inventory and parts management, maintaining system and data integrity, and utilizing performance data to drive efficiency and strategic cost savings. The Analyst provides crucial operational support by effectively communicating and managing the rollout of process changes to store and field teams to ensure seamless alignment. Success in this position requires a strong analytical foundation, organizational rigor, and a commitment to achieving financial and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Parts Management: Manage the health, accuracy, and logistics of the Rental fleet inventory and parts supply chain. This includes ensuring the right parts are available for stores and field teams to repair tools, overseeing stocking programs, processing host orders as needed, and advising on surplus inventory.
Process and System Optimization: Drive operational excellence and cost savings by evaluating performance data to identify issues, proposing strategic process improvements, and deploying best practices for greater efficiency across the rental fleet
Data Integrity and System Performance: Ensure inventory and rental system accuracy through regular cycle counts and setup, while managing IT issues (defects and enhancements) to maintain system performance and data integrity.
Project Execution and Communication: Develop and manage comprehensive project communication playbooks and execution strategies to ensure the successful, clear, and consistent rollout of new processes and systems to store and field teams.
Field Alignment and Collaboration: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners, store and field teams to gather critical operational input, ensure organizational alignment on initiatives, and drive high adoption rates for change management efforts.
Financial Performance: Support the achievement of financial and profitability targets by actively identifying, analyzing, and closing gaps in profit and sales, while demonstrating adaptability to new business changes and processes.

Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional engagement, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships across all business levels (including store and field teams).

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

Minimum Education
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

- External: 2-5 years of relevant work experience.

The pay range for this position is between $55,100.00 - $62,000.00
