Director, Sales Operations & Strategy
Location: San Mateo, CA | Salt Lake City | New York City | Boston
Work Model: Hybrid / In-office (must be based in one of the listed hubs)
Compensation: Up to $225,000 base + ~20% bonus (flexible for A+ candidates)

The Role |
The Director, Sales Operations & Strategy will serve as a strategic partner to senior sales leadership, owning the systems, analytics, and processes that drive revenue growth. This role sits at the intersection of sales strategy, operations, analytics, and technology, with influence across the full customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead territory design and coverage models across sales teams
- Own full-funnel analytics and performance reporting
- Serve as a strategic business partner to Heads of Sales
- Design and manage quota setting and compensation plans
- Own and improve forecasting processes and accuracy
- Lead and optimize the GTM technology stack (CRM, analytics, tooling)
- Partner with sales teams focused on insurance customers
- Support post-sale operations and cross-functional handoffs
- Drive operational rigor and scalable sales processes as the company grows
Required Qualifications
- Experience in high-growth SaaS startups (required)
- Proven background owning sales operations, strategy, and analytics end-to-end
- Hands-on experience with territory design, quota/comp planning, and forecasting
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Ability to influence senior sales leaders and operate as a trusted business partner
- Progressive career trajectory with increasing scope and responsibility
Strongly Preferred
- MBA from a top-tier program
- Experience scaling GTM operations in venture-backed or PE-backed environments
- Deep familiarity with modern sales tech stacks and data-driven decision-making
