Position Overview
Title: Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: India (Hybrid / On-site for core build phase)
Stage: Pre-Revenue
Equity: Yes
Capital Investment: Mandatory (Skin in the Game)
This is not a salaried position.
This is a founding equity + capital participation role.
The CFO will be responsible for:

Core Role Mandate
The CFO Co-Founder will build the financial spine of DIVINAA from day zero.
You are not joining a company.

Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Capital Structuring & Founder Investment
- Commit agreed founder capital (cash investment)
- Structure equity vs capital contribution framework
- Design founder agreement financial architecture
- Define vesting, dilution & ESOP pool strategy
- Establish capital efficiency discipline
2️⃣ Financial Architecture Design
- Build 3–5 year financial model (retail + wholesale + D2C)
- Define store-level unit economics
- Define SKU margin frameworks (SARVAM / EKAM / ZIKR)
- Working capital cycle planning
- Inventory turn strategy
- Cash burn modeling
3️⃣ Compliance & Governance
- Company structure & shareholding design
- Accounting systems setup
- Statutory compliance planning
- GST & multi-state retail compliance
- IP asset capitalization strategy
- Internal control frameworks
4️⃣ Fundraising & Investor Readiness
- Prepare financial data room
- Investor pitch financial modeling
- Valuation benchmarking
- Seed round structuring
- Debt vs equity decision frameworks
- Institutional funding strategy
5️⃣ Retail & Omni-Channel Economics
- Offline store capex modeling (200 / 500 / 1000 sq ft formats)
- Gross margin architecture per sub-brand
- Marketplace commission impact analysis
- Pricing discipline & discount strategy
- Franchise financial modeling (future stage)
6️⃣ Strategic Decision Partnership
As Co-Founder, CFO will:
- Challenge expansion pace

Required Profile
Experience
- 8–15+ years in finance, retail, consumer, startup, or PE/VC ecosystem
- Experience in early-stage venture building preferred
- Fundraising exposure (Seed/Angel/Series A level)
- Retail or omni-channel experience strongly preferred
