Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a strategic business partner responsible for the overall financial health, strategic planning, and performance of the company. This role involves overseeing all financial functions, driving financial strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing key insights to the executive leadership team to maximize profitability in the competitive food manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the development of the company's financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term capital planning to support growth and expansion.
- Cost Control & Optimization: Implement robust cost accounting methodologies, manage working capital, and optimize supply chain costs specific to food production, including raw materials and distribution.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee all accounting and finance functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and compliance with all relevant Indian and international accounting standards and food industry regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including commodity price volatility, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory changes, acting as the primary line of defense during crises.
- Leadership & Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- ERP & Technology Implementation: Oversee the implementation and optimization of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other financial technologies to streamline operations and enhance data analysis capabilities.
- Investment Enablement: Identify, evaluate, and structure strategic investment opportunities to support business expansion, new product development, and capacity enhancement. Lead financial due-diligence, assess ROI, manage investor interactions, and ensure alignment of investments with long-term organizational strategy.
- SOP Implementation & Financial Governance:Design, implement, and monitor necessary Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across finance and accounts to ensure consistency, control, and scalability.
- Gap Audits – Finance & Accounts: Conduct periodic GAP audits in finance and accounts to identify control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, and compliance gaps, and drive corrective actions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Professional certifications such as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are highly valued.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance and leadership roles, with at least 3-5 years as a CFO or VP of Finance.
- Specific experience in the food manufacturing, FMCG, or related industrial sector is mandatory.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to plant finance and supply chain dynamics.

- Strong strategic mindset and ability to link finance with business objectives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to manage teams and interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Technologically savvy with experience in AI, ERP systems and data analytics.
