About Video Canvas (From Money Alive)
We're an award-winning fintech company specialising in hyper-personalised video communications for the financial services sector. Our platform helps major pension schemes, wealth managers, and financial institutions transform complex information into engaging, personalised video content for their members and clients.
We work with household-name clients, including FTSE 100 companies and government departments, and we're growing rapidly. Our proprietary technology solves a critical challenge for regulated financial services: delivering personalisation at scale while keeping client data secure and compliant.
We're scaling our commercial operations and need someone brilliant to be the connective tissue across our sales process, ensuring every opportunity is tracked, every action is followed through, and nothing falls between the cracks.
The Role
You'll be the single point of contact for our sales operations, the person everyone comes to when they need to know "where are we with this deal?" You'll coordinate meetings, prepare briefs, capture requirements, draft proposals, maintain our CRM, create content, and ensure our sales process runs smoothly from first conversation through to signed contract.
This isn't a traditional sales role. You won't be cold-calling or closing deals. You're the coordinator who makes sure every opportunity moves forward efficiently and every stakeholder has what they need when they need it.
You'll report to our Chief Operations Officer and work across the business with founders, product, and studio teams.
What You'll Actually Do
Deal coordination
- Prepare concise briefs before client meetings (attendees, context, objectives)
- Attend calls and demos to capture notes and action items
- Chase prospects for meeting confirmations and follow-ups
- Track commitments and ensure deliverables are completed on time
- Maintain clear visibility on every opportunity in our pipeline
Proposal & documentation
- Work with leadership to prepare statements of work and proposals
- Document client requirements and project specifications
- Create templates and improve sales collateral
- Maintain our CRM as the single source of truth
Content & communications
- Post company updates, wins, and insights on LinkedIn
- Create case studies and client-facing materials
- Coordinate asset requests across teams
- Support marketing and thought leadership initiatives
Process improvement
- Use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in our sales process
- Document workflows and best practices
- Implement systems that make everyone more productive
You'll Excel Here If You
Must-haves:
- Financial services experience, you understand pensions, investments, wealth management, or financial services and can speak the language
- Technology/software company background you've worked in or with SaaS, platforms, or tech products
- Exceptional communication skills: you write clearly, speak confidently, and adapt to different audiences
- Highly organised, you juggle multiple priorities, and nothing slips through the cracks
- Tech-savvy, comfortable with CRM systems, AI tools, and marketing automation platforms (or eager to learn them)

- Familiarity with AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI)

- Like working across functions rather than in a silo
- Want to be close to commercial activity without carrying quota
- Appreciate variety and the chance to improve processes
