Freshslice Alberta is undergoing aggressive expansion across the province, with growth plans to open 200 stores within the next decade. As we scale, the Alberta Area Owner needs a strategic partner to support the rapid growth and the success of our existing 15 locations, setting standards for operational excellence across the growing region.
About the Role and Opportunity!
Reporting directly to the Alberta Area Owner, you will be the right hand person growing the Alberta region as it grows from 15 locations to 200!
You will play a critical role in the selection of prospective Franchisees (Store Owners). While being a "boots on the ground" partner who ensures our existing Franchisees are supported in achieving business success through operational compliance.
Acting as a true brand ambassador you will representFreshslice with pride and passion. You will take pride and ownership in our operational standards and procedures and support Franchisees in the maintenance and adherence of those standards.
A large focus and priority in this role will entail building trusting relationships with existing and new Franchisees and their teams to support the overall health of our growing region.
A day in the life:
Sales
- Maintain and manage the regional sales lead pipeline (SharePoint), ensuring all inbound franchise inquiries are accurately tracked, organized, and progressing in a timely manner.
- Act as a first point of contact for interested prospective Franchise Owners, conducting initial outreach, follow-ups, and relationship-building conversations.
- Review incoming franchise applications for completeness and alignment with ownership criteria, flagging and contacting qualified candidates for next steps.
- Distribute franchise application packages, documentation, and next-step instructions to prospective owners.
- Proactively follow up with applicants to drive momentum through the application process and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Store Operations
- Conducting high-impact field visits across 15+ locations, as well as virtual deep-dives to ensure every store reflects our "Gold Standard" operations.
- Work with Store Owners and Area Owner to set sales targets and work side-by-side to implement the strategies needed to achieve them. This includes assisting with the ideation and execution of local marketing initiative planning as well as in store and online promotions.
- Dive into P&Ls, inventory cycles, and labor costs. You will be the consultant who helps Store Owners manage/reduce expenses and maximize their bottom line.
- Support Area Owner with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Who you are:
- You bring 1-2+ years of experience in sales/lead generation within a multi-unit or franchise operations environment. You are competitive, driven and results focused by nature.
- You have 1+ years in Food & Beverage management or experience working in a restaurant environment. As a result you know what it takes to run smooth operations both front and back of house.
- You understand the importance of data and progress tracking. You know how to use metrics to diagnose key issues and celebrate wins.
- You are highly organized, communicative, and possess the "ownership mindset" needed to act as the Area Owner’s right hand person.
What’s In It For You?
- $30,000-$100,000 bonus for referral of an Area Representative Ownership
- $15,000 bonus for referral of a Full-Ownership Franchise Partner
- $1,000-$5,000 bonus for each successful location you find.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
