We’re scaling our OEM business across the DACH region, and demo quality + onboarding speed are the critical success factors for this GTM motion.
You'll build the data operations engine that powers our entire OEM go-to-market motion.
Working directly with our VP Global Sales and Sales Team Lead OEM, you'll own the complete demo data preparation pipeline and customer onboarding support.
This isn't about making spreadsheets look pretty—you'll transform messy BOMs, component lists, and pricing data into compelling proof points that close deals on repeat.
Your work directly impacts whether prospects convert, how fast new customers can see measurable impact from our software, and how steep our growth trend with OEM customers will be.
Within six months, you'll own the complete data preparation process for OEM demos and onboardings—reducing demo prep time from 2 hours to under 30 minutes per customer, and cutting onboarding time to first value by 50%.
Independently prepare 3+ custom demo environments per week with real customer data
Shadow 5+ onboarding sessions and document the data upload process
Learn Luminovo's product and the electronics industry fundamentals
Own end-to-end demo data preparation for the entire OEM sales pipeline
Contribute to 2+ successful customer onboardings via independent data work
Reduce average onboarding completion time by at least 30%
Create documentation that allows another person to replicate your work
Develop and test hypotheses for process and data management automation in sales and customer onboardings
Become the go-to expert for OEM data patterns and customer insights
Train new Account Executives on demo preparation best practices
Handle 80% of OEM data preparation work without escalation
Ship your first automation to increase scalability in the onboarding process
Start with execution, progress toward automation. Within 6 months, you'll go from preparing individual demos to designing scalable systems that let our sales team move 3x faster.
Transform messy customer data (Excel BOMs, component lists, pricing sheets) into clean, analysis-ready datasets
Build custom demo environments that showcase Luminovo's pricing insights and benchmarking capabilities
Test and validate data quality before demos and customer calls
Join onboarding calls to understand customer data structures and requirements
Clean and upload customer data when internal implementation resources are limited
Document common data patterns, edge cases, and solutions
Flag product gaps or process inefficiencies that slow down sales and customer success
Build reusable demo templates and data sets that reduce future preparation time
Develop automations that reduce the manual onboarding steps on our end and for the customer
You're genuinely curious about how companies make sourcing and pricing decisions
You can look at a messy Excel file and instinctively start organizing it in your head
You've previously turned chaos into structure — whether in a student job, side project, or academic work
You're comfortable learning new software tools quickly and finding workarounds when things don't work perfectly
You communicate clearly and can explain technical concepts to non-technical people. English is a must. German a bonus, but not strictly required.
You're proactive — you see something broken and you fix it without being asked
You're available for 15-20 hours per week during German business hours
This role offers a unique combination of technical execution and strategic business context that most student roles don't provide:
B2B SaaS sales mechanics: See how enterprise deals actually get closed—from first demo to signed contract
Customer success fundamentals: Learn what makes customers successful and how to design onboarding for impact
Electronics industry expertise: Understand how sourcing and pricing decisions work in a trillion-dollar industry
Data-to-insights transformation: Master turning messy real-world data into actionable business insights
Scalable process design: Learn how early-stage companies build operations that work at 10x scale
Career progression: This role has a clear path toward Implementation Manager, Customer Success, or Sales positions at Luminovo. Our Sales Team Lead OEM started as an implementation working student in a role very similar to this one.

Inga Schwarz, Team Lead and Pioneer AE for OEM — Your primary partner in building the OEM sales playbook
Catharina Kuhwald, Chief of Staff — Driving our OEM GTM motion as project leader
Max Hungenbach and RevOps — Provide CRM support, dashboards, and sales enablement
Marketing, Customer Success & Product teams — Regular collaboration on campaigns, customer onboarding, and product roadmap
Just so you know: We purposefully did not create a standard list of minimum qualifications for this role. We care much more about your motivation and ability to help us accelerate technical progress than we care just about your CV. If you're interested in finding out more about why we banned requirements from our performance profiles, see here.
