Position Summary
SGPS ShowRig, Inc. is seeking a strategic and operationally driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial vision, infrastructure, and performance of our expanding global organization. The CFO will serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, guiding financial strategy, strengthening operational partnerships, and building scalable systems to support continued growth across touring, fabrication, automation, rental, and international markets.
This role requires a hands-on executive leader who can drive financial excellence while partnering deeply with operations, sales, project management, and international business units—including our recently integrated automation software company.
The CFO will oversee all accounting functions (AP, AR, payroll, financial reporting), financial planning & analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, and system integrations—including NetSuite ERP and RTPro rental system integration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive Financial Leadership
- Serve as strategic financial advisor to the Board, President and Executive Team.
- Guide company-wide financial decision-making aligned with long-term growth objectives.
- Lead capital strategy, banking relationships, financing structures, and investment planning.
- Develop financial models to support domestic and international expansion.
- Provide financial analysis to support acquisitions, integrations, and market expansion.
2. Accounting & Financial Operations Leadership
- Lead and manage all accounting teams including:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll
- General Ledger
- Financial Reporting
- Tax compliance
- Establish strong internal controls and compliance processes across multi-state and international operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Oversee audit preparation and manage external auditors.
- Maintain strong cost accounting practices for fabrication and project-based environments.
3. Budgeting, Forecasting & FP&A
- Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.
- Develop rolling forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Build profitability models by division, company, and project.
- Partner with operational leaders to improve gross margin, labor utilization, and project profitability.
- Establish KPIs and financial dashboards for executive and departmental use.
4. Systems & Technology Integration
- Lead optimization of NetSuite ERP for multi-entity financial reporting and operational visibility.
- Drive integration between:
- NetSuite
- RTPro rental management system
- Payroll systems (ADP or similar)
- Project costing tools
- Partner with IT and operations to improve automation, reporting accuracy, and real-time financial visibility.
- Standardize financial workflows across all companies and locations.
5. Operational Partnership
- Partner closely with:
- Operations leadership
- Sales
- Project Management
- Fabrication
- Touring divisions
- Provide financial insights that guide pricing strategy, rental utilization, capital equipment purchases, and staffing models.
- Support inventory valuation, equipment ROI analysis, and asset lifecycle management.
- Develop clear financial guardrails that empower managers while maintaining accountability.
6. International & Growth Strategy
- Support expansion and future global initiatives.
- Lead financial integration of Niscon/Raynok into SGPS financial systems and reporting.
- Navigate cross-border compliance, tax considerations, and international banking structures.
- Build scalable infrastructure to support future acquisitions and global market entry.
7. Culture & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing accounting and finance teams.
- Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards.
- Promote financial awareness across the organization.
- Foster cross-department collaboration aligned with our values.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- Experience in multi-entity, multi-state operations.
- Strong background in ERP systems (NetSuite required or highly preferred).
- Experience integrating financial systems with operational platforms (RTPro or rental/project-based systems preferred).
- Demonstrated experience leading accounting teams (AP, AR, GL, Payroll).
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, rental, or project-based industries strongly preferred.
- Experience with international financial operations is a plus.
