THE ROLE
The Global Renewals Deal Desk Manager supports the worldwide renewal Leader by managing commercial governance, renewal pricing strategy, and non-standard renewal deal support. The role ensures commercial accuracy, global policy consistency, and high-quality renewal proposal execution.
This position works closely with Global Renewals Leader, Regional Deal Managers, Finance, Legal, Product, and Sales Operations to accelerate renewal cycles, protect ARR, and improve commercial outcomes. The role is globally focused—supporting all regions—and reports into the Vice President Sales Operations with a strong dotted line into the Global Renewals Leader.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Review and commercially oversee the top global or strategic renewal deals, ensuring pricing integrity, compliant governance, and accurate documentation.
- Guide and facilitate global approval workflows with Finance, Legal, Product, and Executive stakeholders when needed.
- Support Renewals and Account teams with pricing scenarios, uplift strategies, commercial structures, and competitive renewal positioning.
- Drive continuous improvement of renewal deal processes, tools, templates, and best practices across all regions.
- Provide global reporting and insights on renewal deal trends, margin impacts, discounting behaviour, cycle times, and risk indicators.
- Ensure consistent application of renewal policies, playbooks, and commercial guidelines worldwide.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in Deal Desk, Renewals Operations, Commercial Operations, or Sales Operations.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial analysis skills, including solid understanding of software subscription economics and Renewal related Revenue Recognition principles.
- Ability to manage complex, multi stakeholder commercial cycles across regions and time zones.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and cross-functional project management skills.
- Proficiency with CRM/CPQ tools required; experience supporting global user groups preferred.
