Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Financial Strategy & Planning :
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term growth objectives.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Drive financial discipline to ensure sustainable profitability and scalability.
2. Fundraising & Debt Management :
- Lead debt-raising initiatives from banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and capital markets.
- Optimize capital structure and manage cost of borrowing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, investors, and credit rating agencies.
3. Risk & Compliance Management :
- Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, Companies Act, and other applicable financial compliance frameworks.
- Establish strong internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.
- Oversee statutory reporting, regulatory filings, audits, and tax compliance.
4. Business & Financial Performance Monitoring :
- Oversee MIS, financial reporting, and data analytics to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs and recommend strategies to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
- Drive automation and digitization of financial processes.
5. Treasury & Liquidity Management :
- Manage cash flows to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
- Optimize working capital management and investment strategies.
- Supervise treasury functions including forex exposure and hedging strategies.
6. Leadership & Stakeholder Management :
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board in driving business growth.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing finance team.
- Engage with investors, regulators, rating agencies, and key stakeholders to enhance financial credibility.
Key Skills & Competencies :
- Strong knowledge of NBFC regulations, RBI guidelines, and financial reporting standards.
- Proven expertise in fundraising, debt management, and financial structuring.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and risk assessment.
- Hands-on experience in digital finance transformation and process automation.
