Role Overview
The role is responsible for leading the organizations financial strategy, ensuring strong financial governance, and supporting business growth through effective planning, analysis, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy.
- Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory, statutory, and internal requirements.
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, investments, and financial risk to maintain financial stability.
- Develop and monitor financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Provide strategic financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to senior management to support business growth and decision-making.
- Oversee audits, tax matters, and liaison with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and accountability.
- Support business expansion initiatives, cost optimization, and profitability improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Masters degree preferred).
- ACCA qualified; CPA / CA qualification is a strong advantage.
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
