Camino Search are supporting a PE firm as they look to hire a GTM advisor to execute value creation and sales initiatives within their portfolio. The fund focus is on Technology investments, so a background in Mid - Large Cap businesses is important. The advisor will be supporting C-suite teams in formulating and executing GTM strategies to drive organic growth and internationalisation. The ideal candidate will be an ex-CRO!
Ideal profile:
- Former Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) or senior commercial leader
- Strong track record in private‑equity‑backed businesses
- Proven experience in IT services, SaaS, or software‑led organisations
- Skilled in building and optimising sales, marketing, and customer success functions
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑accountability, value‑creation environments
What you’ll be doing:
- Assessing current GTM strategy and identifying improvement opportunities
- Supporting leadership on revenue planning, pipeline structure, and execution
- Strengthening sales processes, forecasting discipline, and performance management
- Advising on pricing, packaging, and market positioning
- Helping implement scalable, investor‑ready commercial frameworks
- Acting as a hands‑on advisor to the CEO, CRO, and board where required
