Role Overview
The
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial activities of Lafit Lighting Solutions LLP. This role involves providing strategic financial leadership, managing financial planning and reporting, ensuring robust financial controls, and supporting the company's growth initiatives. The CFO will work closely with the CEO, other senior leaders, and external stakeholders to drive financial performance and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role is critical in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the long-term financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives to drive profitability and growth.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and financial performance.
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment activities to maximize returns and ensure financial stability.
- Provide financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives, including new product development, market expansion, and potential acquisitions.
- Build and manage a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship, training, and development opportunities to foster professional growth.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial institutions to ensure compliance and maintain strong relationships.
Required Skillset
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and risk management practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a recognized institution.
- Experience in managing finance and accounts for 3-7 years.
