Role Overview: Our Client is hiring a Strategic finance leader to partner directly with the MD/Promoter in driving profitability, capital efficiency, and IPO readiness. Owns the full finance function — from management accounting and compliance to investor relations and board governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Profitability
• Own P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. Drive EBITDA margin improvement.
• Lead working capital optimization — DSO, DPO, and inventory turns.
• Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives across all functions.
• Evaluate ROI on capital investments and capex allocation.
IPO Readiness & Capital Markets
• Lead the IPO process end to end — DRHP, financial disclosures, SEBI filings.
• Manage investment bankers, merchant bankers, legal counsel, and auditors.
• Build investor narrative, valuation frameworks, and roadshow materials.
• Strengthen corporate governance, board reporting, and Audit Committee. Governance,
Compliance & Controls
• Ensure statutory compliance — IndAS, Companies Act, Income Tax, GST.
• Drive internal audit, risk management, and control framework.
• Lead ERP / RPA adoption for finance process automation.
Promoter & Stakeholder Partnership
• Serve as key financial advisor to MD/Promoter — strategy, M&A, fundraising.
• Manage banks, lenders, rating agencies, and institutional investors.
• Build finance team capability and cross-functional business partnering.
Qualification and Experience
• Chartered Accountant (CA) — mandatory.
• 18–25 years of finance leadership; minimum 5 years as CFO or equivalent.
• IPO execution experience — end-to-end DRHP to listing
• Manufacturing sector experience strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of reporting to and advising promoter/MD directly.
• Strong command of IndAS, SEBI regulations, and Companies Act.
• Exposure to SAP / Oracle ERP, MIS dashboards, and treasury management.
