Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Architect and help drive enterprise-wide sales operations strategy in partnership with the Head of Sales Operations, ensuring alignment between sales performance metrics, incentive frameworks, and overarching corporate revenue objectives.
- Formulate and oversee the design and evolution of global sales performance management processes, including KPI governance, target-setting methodologies, and incentive measurement frameworks for large, complex global sales organizations.
- Strategize and partner with senior sales leadership and cross-functional executives across Finance, HR, IT, and Marketing to define and implement scalable sales planning, performance tracking, and operational infrastructure.
- Spearhead key sales operations systems and CRM initiatives, helping define enterprise business requirements, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen governance over sales data, analytics, and reporting frameworks.
- Define and oversee strategic resource planning models to optimize deployment of sales and technical resources across regions, vertical markets, and key strategic accounts.
- Lead operational strategy and integration planning during organizational changes, acquisitions, and business restructures, ensuring continuity and alignment of sales processes, targets, and incentive structures.
- Architect and standardize global sales reporting frameworks and operational processes, driving automation, improving data integrity, and reducing manual operational workload across the sales organization.
- Spearhead initiatives that strengthen global sales collaboration, operational alignment, and performance visibility across regions, enabling leadership to make data-driven decisions.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Strategy, Business Analytics, or related commercial operations roles within complex global organizations.
- Demonstrated experience architecting and leading enterprise sales operations frameworks, including sales performance management, KPI governance, territory planning, quota setting, and incentive design.
- Proven ability to formulate and implement strategic operational models that align sales performance management with corporate revenue growth objectives.
- Strong background partnering with senior sales leadership and cross-functional executives across Finance, HR, IT, and Marketing to define scalable commercial processes and operating models.
- Deep experience with CRM and sales performance systems (e.g., Salesforce, sales analytics platforms, and reporting tools), including defining business requirements, driving system enhancements, and strengthening data governance.
- Track record of spearheading large-scale operational initiatives, including sales process transformation, global reporting standardization, organizational integration, or post-acquisition commercial alignment.
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights that influence executive decision-making.
- Experience working in large, matrixed global sales organizations, supporting geographically distributed teams and multiple product or business unit structures.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership without direct authority.
