Senior Business Operations & Analytics Manager - Global Business Operations
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Business Operations & Analytics Manager to join our Global Business Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to deliver insights and strategic guidance on data management. Your responsibilities will include ensuring data quality, partnering with Finance, Sales, and other departments to consolidate and organise data, implement and maintain Power BI dashboards, and support organizational budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the IT Services Industry, deep expertise in data management, business analytics, advanced Excel, and hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Fabric including its integrated suite of tools spanning Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, and Power BI for reporting and visualization.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process, partnering with regional heads to establish and monitor budgetary goals aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct monthly forecasting to track financial performance against targets.
Financial Analysis
- Perform comprehensive P&L analysis to assess profitability across different service lines and regions.
- Conduct cost analysis to evaluate expense drivers and inform budgeting decisions, guiding the COO on financial strategies.
Data Consolidation & Management
- Act as the primary data consolidator, gathering and integrating data from Finance, Sales, and other departments for the Revenue Forecast.
- Leverage Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse) to build and maintain scalable data pipelines and unified data models.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across all data sources, performing regular audits and validations.
Data Quality Assurance
- Identify, analyse, and highlight data quality issues to relevant stakeholders, working collaboratively to implement corrective actions.
- Establish best practices for data governance and compliance within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem to enhance overall data management processes.
Reporting & Visualization
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI (within Microsoft Fabric) to surface operational and financial insights for senior leadership.
- Leverage OneLake, semantic models, and DirectLake connections within Fabric to enable real-time, self-service analytics across the organization.
- Prepare and present detailed reports for the COO and senior management, summarizing financial performance, operational insights, and strategic recommendations.
Collaboration Across Departments
- Collaborate with all departments to understand data requirements and improve data collection and integration processes.
- Foster effective communication and teamwork to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
Education
- MBA (Operations or Finance) from a reputed management institution equivalent to the IIMs or ISB.
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in business operations or financial analysis, preferably within the IT services sector.
- Proven track record in organizational budgeting, forecasting, data consolidation, and data quality management.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or a strong background in Power BI with a clear transition path/intent toward the Fabric platform.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
Technical Proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills, including dynamic functions, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
- Microsoft Fabric proficiency across key workloads:
- Data Engineering: Lakehouse, Notebooks (PySpark/SQL)
- Data Integration: Data Factory pipelines and dataflows
- Data Warehouse: Fabric Warehouse, SQL analytics endpoint
- Business Intelligence: Power BI reports, semantic models, DirectLake mode
- Familiarity with CRM/MIS systems and their data analysis capabilities.
