A rapidly growing international childcare group is seeking a commercially focused Finance Director to join its UK leadership team.
his is a high-profile leadership role, reporting to the UK Managing Director with group reporting into the Group CFO, acting as the statutory financial lead for the UK business and a key commercial partner to the executive team.
The Role
Leading a finance team of 22 (5 direct reports), you will be responsible for financial strategy, reporting and controls across the UK business while helping drive operational performance and growth.
Key areas include:
• Leadership of the UK finance function including reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax and risk
• Delivery of monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Strengthening financial controls and improving reporting through a recent ERP implementation
• Partnering with the executive team to drive margin improvement, performance and strategic growth
• Supporting business transformation and positioning the company for future expansion and M&A
The Candidate
You will be a hands-on, commercially minded finance leader with experience operating at Finance Director level or as a senior number two within a large organisation.
Experience in regulated environments, private equity backed businesses or Big 4 backgrounds will be advantageous, alongside strong leadership capability and a track record of driving financial performance.
