2.Role Purpose
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will lead all revenue-generating functions, with accountability for defining and executing SynPhNe’s commercial growth strategy. This includes sales, partnerships, marketing, and customer success across North America, while ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and clinical ethos.
The CRO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting to the CEO and working closely with the COO & Board to translate SynPhNe’s validated innovation into scalable commercial outcomes.
3.Key Deliverables
- Growth Strategy: Define and execute a North America-centric go-to-market (GTM) strategy for stroke and TBI rehabilitation markets across clinical, digital, and home-based care segments.
- Revenue Acceleration: Deliver sustained revenue growth through multi-channel strategies — B2B enterprise sales, Partnerships and B2C digital models.
- Market Development : Build a pipeline of rehabilitation networks, hospitals, and payers adopting SynPhNe’s platform; establish SynPhNe as a recognised player in neuro-rehabilitation.
- Partnership Ecosystem : Create and manage strategic alliances with healthcare providers, insurers, academic medical centres, and digital health platforms.
- Pricing & Reimbursement : Develop reimbursement and pricing strategies aligned to US payer systems, value-based care, and emerging remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM) codes.
- Organisational Leadership Build and lead a high-performing commercial team with regional sales, channel, and partnership leads across the US and Canada.
- Customer Success : Implement a structured customer success framework that enhances adoption, retention, and patient outcomes.
4.Leadership Responsibilities
• Serve as the commercial voice at the executive table, influencing product roadmap, investment priorities, and clinical partnerships.
• Translate SynPhNe’s scientific and clinical validation into compelling value propositions for clinicians, patients, and payers.
• Oversee brand strategy and market positioning, ensuring differentiation and trust in both clinical and consumer segments.
• Build governance and reporting mechanisms for revenue performance, including dashboards for quarterly revenue OKRs, CAC:LTV, and NPS.
• Foster a performance-driven, mission-aligned culture within the commercial organisation.
5.Candidate Profile
- Experience 15+ years in commercial leadership roles within digital health, medical devices, rehabilitation technology, or life sciences. Proven record in scaling early-stage ventures into growth-phase organisations.
- Market Expertise Deep familiarity with the US healthcare ecosystem, reimbursement models, and regulatory frameworks.
- Commercial Acumen Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through multi-channel models — enterprise sales, partnerships, and digital subscription platforms.
- Leadership Style Strategic, collaborative, and execution-focused. Experienced in building and leading cross-functional teams across geographies.
- Fund Raising Demonstrated ability in Fund Raising with experience at Series A, B and C stages of the funding journey.
- Values Alignment Purpose-driven, empathetic to patient and clinician experience, with a strong orientation to measurable health outcomes.
6.Performance Metrics
- Revenue Growth : Quarterly recurring revenue (QRR), YoY growth, regional sales performance
- Market Penetration :Number of active rehab centres, channel partners, and end-user adoptions
- Conversion Efficiency : Lead-to-close ratio, CAC:LTV
- Retention & Advocacy : Renewal rates, NPS, clinician/patient engagement
- Strategic Impact : Partner revenue contribution, institutional collaborations
7. Reporting & Collaboration
• Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
• Works with: Board of Directors, COO, Chief Product Officer, Chief Clinical Officer, and Regional Heads
• Location: Preferably North America (East Coast or Midwest)
