CFO – PE-Backed European Platform

Are you a French finance leader currently working internationally and considering a return to Paris for your next leadership role?
We are supporting a private equity-backed European commercial services platform (~€250m revenue) on the appointment of a Chief Financial Officer.
Led by an entrepreneurial founder and backed by a leading PE investor, the company operates across multiple European markets and has already completed several acquisitions. The business is entering a new phase of accelerated growth, with a clear buy-and-build strategy and EBITDA expansion plan.
The CFO will play a pivotal leadership role, partnering closely with the CEO and investors to drive performance, M&A and value creation across the group.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic partner to the CEO and PE investors
• Active in M&A execution and financial integration
• Drive EBITDA growth, cash management and operational performance
• Build and lead a high-performing international finance organisation
• Lead finance transformation, reporting and systems across a multi-entity European platform
• Support the Board and investors in strategic planning and exit preparation
Ideal Profile
• CFO / Divisional CFO experience in a PE-backed or high-growth environment
• Proven buy-and-build / M&A integration experience
• Background in services, marketing, digital or tech-enabled businesses preferred
• Strong experience operating in international, multi-entity organisations
• French fluency and experience working in the UKare nice to have but not mandatory
