We are partnering with a growing construction company with three operating locations and a long‑term plan to scale to $100M in revenue over the next five years. They are looking for a senior, hands‑on CFO who understands construction, partners closely with operations, and helps guide the business through its next phase of growth.
This role is ideal for someone who can turn numbers into a clear story, support leaders in the field, and still roll up their sleeves when needed.
What You’ll Do • Lead the full finance and accounting function for a multi‑branch construction organization
• Act as a financial partner to the President/GM and senior operating leaders
• Present budgets, forecasts, and financial results to the investor group and Board
• Own cash flow, banking relationships, credit facilities, and bonding support
• Drive strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term modeling
• Oversee construction accounting including job costing and percentage of completion
• Elevate financial reporting and analysis (current Controller manages close, not reporting)
• Manage and develop the accounting and finance team
• Support system upgrades, including a planned migration from CE to a Microsoft‑based platform
• Provide clear financial reporting across three locations and multiple divisions

• Forward‑thinking mindset around using technology to support scale and efficiency
What We’re Looking For • Senior‑level CFO or VP Finance experience within construction
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting, WIP, job costing, and POC
• Proven cash management and banking experience in a construction environment
• Experience partnering closely with operations and non‑finance leaders
• Multi‑location or multi‑division experience
• Comfortable being hands on while remaining strategic
• Experience presenting to investors or Boards
• CE experience preferred; Microsoft systems experience a plus
