Chief Sales Officer:
Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to lead and scale national sales operations within the U.S. beverage market. This executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding distribution, and building strategic partnerships with major retailers and distributors nationwide.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in the beverage industry, strong distributor relationships, and a proven ability to scale brands across key retail channels including Convenience, Grocery, Mass, Drug, and Club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver national sales revenue, distribution, and market-share targets
- Define and execute the U.S. go-to-market and distributor strategy
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable regional and national sales leaders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and major retail partners
- Ensure consistent execution across all sales channels and markets
- Provide clear performance reporting and commercial insights to executive leadership
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of senior sales leadership experience in the U.S. beverage industry
- Proven success closing major retail and distributor partnerships
- Deep experience with distributor-based beverage go-to-market models
- Demonstrated success scaling beverage brands across C-Store, Grocery, Mass, Drug, and Club channels
- Experience managing both direct sales teams and distributor sales forces
- Strong ability to influence and negotiate with senior decision-makers
- Working knowledge of sales systems and retail data platforms
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and execution skills
- Mandarin language proficiency is a plus
- Willingness to travel extensively nationwide
