Position Summary
The role of Manager, Consumer Sales would consist of monitoring the performance of the sales team pipeline through detailed file management and provide high level reporting to the Director, Consumer Sales Operations advising on trends to improve business process and flow. Streamlining processes wherever possible and assist in team development and coaching. Your compensation will be measured against delivering profitable results, monthly and annual quotas and rewarded with a competitive base salary, and graduated bonus potential program in addition to extensive benefits program to create a highly competitive compensation package. This position is located in Toronto.
Major Elements Of The Role
- Work with Director, Consumer Sales Operations in managing the Inside Sales channel
- Manage the pipeline from application to funding
- Define tasks for the sales team and set realistic objectives
- Analyze results and needs, provide forecasting and recommendations to meet strategic objectives
- Analyze the relevance of the information to draw conclusions that fit the facts, recommend process changes when applicable and deliver weekly/monthly reviews
- Continuous learning - product knowledge, relationship management
- Liaison between internal stakeholders such as operations and underwriting teams
- Manage a team of sales operations coordinators to deliver mortgage origination targets and required business objections specifically around pipe efficiency and throughput
- Drives subsequent advance originations through training, coaching and development of the Subsequent Advance Specialist(s)
- Identify opportunities for sales support to streamline entire sales process, support training, change management along with measuring activities and results

Skills And Experience Required
- Post-secondary education or equivalent sales work experience
- Sales strategy and analytical skills
- Previous people management experience is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in financial services industry is an asset
