Fanatics Collectibles is a new company working at the intersection of collectibles and technology. We are backed by some of the best investors, sports & entertainment properties and operators in the world. Fanatics Collectibles is integrating with Fanatics’ global digital sports platform – which includes 900 sports relationships and more than 81 million reachable fans – to reimagine the collectibles business for the 21st century.
Role Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Business Operations Associate to drive continuous end-to-end improvement across our entire global operations orgs. The Associate will join the Business Operations team, and, given this team’s end-to-end mandate, will be expected to both 1) own the evaluation / scoping of business transformation initiatives as well as 2) drive end-to-end execution and ultimately ensure value delivery (efficiency, cost, quality, etc.). The ideal candidate is a self-starter with top-notch data analytics skills, including extensive experience with Power BI/dashboarding, SQL, data lake / data warehouse management, and API integrations across data platforms. The candidate will also have a demonstrated propensity for solving difficult problems, experience driving end-to-end transformational change, and maintaining a team-first mindset. Candidates with a passion for sports, culture, & entertainment will find themselves a strong cultural fit.
Within The First 6 Months, You Will
- Take end-to-end ownership of a high-impact business initiatives and, together with the Director, Business Operations, work cross-functionally to ensure project success
- Work with Operations teams to identify, size, and actively prioritize all potential improvement initiatives / opportunities on the roadmap
- Diligence areas of inefficiency via data analysis (Power BI, Airtable, internal data sources), establish measurable goals / KPIs, and subsequently drive owned improvement programs to ensure value delivery and success
- Work cross-functionally with wide array of teams (e.g., product/brand, project management, licensing, etc.) to deliver on high-level cross-functional initiatives
- Help Fanatics Collectibles improve the quality, speed, cost efficiency of our operations & manufacturing processes, delivering a better consumer experience to all collectors
- Become a subject matter expert in all things Trading Cards!
The Ideal Candidate
- Dallas based
- 2+ years of experience, with a preference for Management Consulting, Strategy, Finance / Accounting, or Biz Ops / Strategy roles
- Extensive experience using Power BI (data modeling, DAX measures, dashboard design optimizations), Excel VBA / macros, SQL, data integrations across platforms to drive business outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or similar preferred
- Strong quantitative modelling & analytical skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong financial acumen
- Team-first management mindset, with a passion for solving highly complex problems collaboratively with their direct reports
- Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize and remain flexible in high pressure dynamic situation

About The Team
Fanatics Collectibles is a new model and vision for the hobby, fundamentally changing the experience for current and future collectors, leagues, and players across many U.S. and international professional and college sports. The organization has long-term, exclusive rights to design, manufacture and distribute trading cards for several sports and entertainment properties, including MLB, MLBPA, the Premier League, MLS, UFC, Formula 1 as well as Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars, among others. In January 2022, Fanatics Collectibles announced the acquisition of Topps, establishing the preeminent licensed trading card brand as the cornerstone of Fanatics’ trading cards and collectibles business, and jumpstarted its MLB and MLBPA rights to design, manufacture and distribute trading cards
