About West Kitikmeot Resources
West Kitikmeot Resources Corp. (WKR) is an Inuit-led organization dedicated to the development of the Kitikmeot Region of Nunavut for the benefit of Kitikmeot Inuit. WKR is the sole proponent and developer of the Grays Bay Road and Port (Grays Bay) Project. Grays Bay includes a new deepwater port on the Northwest Passage of the Arctic Ocean in Nunavut, and a 230 km road connecting to the port. Prime Minister Mark Carney recently referred Grays Bay to the Major Projects Office for further development. As a small, agile team, we pride ourselves on a "roll-up-your-sleeves" culture where every member contributes directly to the success of our project.
