Services revenue. Rental yields. Event economics. Project margins. You'll see it all — and you'll own it all.
What This Role Really Is
You won't be managing a finance function. You'll be building one.
You'll sit next to the Founder on every decision that matters — pricing a new vertical, structuring a land deal, negotiating with investors, acquiring a property, signing a vendor contract worth crores. Your voice will shape the call.
Here's what lands on your desk:
🔹 Own the numbers. Every single one.
Five entities. Clean books. Audit-ready at any moment. GST, TDS, income tax, ROC — nothing slips. This is table stakes.
🔹 Turn data into decisions.
Build the MIS that tells us the truth. Unit economics for each venture. Dashboards the Founder actually uses. Budgets that mean something. Forecasts that hold up.
🔹 Run the treasury like a hawk.
Cash flow across entities. Working capital. Banking relationships. Credit discipline. Every rupee accounted for, every rupee deployed with purpose.
🔹 Raise capital when the time comes.
Debt today. Equity tomorrow. You'll build the data rooms, own the models, tell the story to investors, and run due diligence end-to-end.
🔹 Structure the deals.
Real estate transactions. Joint ventures. Large procurement. Vendor contracts. You'll sit in the room, not wait for the summary afterwards.
🔹 Build the team. Build the systems.
Hire the people. Choose the tools. Write the SOPs. Leave behind a function that scales — not one that depends on you being on call.
Who We're Looking For
This is a role for a builder, not a manager. A commercial thinker, not just a compliance officer. Someone who reads a P&L and sees the story behind it.
The Non-Negotiables
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Deep command of Indian tax, GST, and corporate compliance
- Has built MIS and financial models from scratch — not just maintained inherited ones
- Can operate across multiple industries without losing depth in any
Strong Pluses
- MBA Finance or CFA
- Fundraising experience — debt or equity
- Exposure to services, real estate, hospitality, or construction/EPC
