SafeSpace Global is seeking a hands-on, capital-markets-experienced CFO to help build the financial backbone of a growing AI company operating across regulated industries including education, healthcare, transportation, corrections, and government environments.
This is a builder role. The right candidate will lead the company’s financial function across public company reporting, audit readiness, financial governance, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and capital markets preparation as we position for a structured uplist from the Pink Sheets to Nasdaq, NYSE American, or NYSE.
Reports to: Scott Boruff, Chief Executive Officer, and the Chair of the Audit Committee.
The CFO will lead financial reporting, public company controls, PCAOB audit coordination, uplist readiness, treasury, FP&A, budget discipline, vendor oversight, and financial systems development. This executive will also serve as the primary financial liaison with auditors, securities counsel, investment banks, transfer agents, OTC Markets, and exchange representatives.
Just as important, this leader will serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, President, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors while helping build the internal finance, accounting, and administrative infrastructure required to scale responsibly.
Required background:
• 10+ years of finance leadership experience
• Prior experience as CFO or senior finance executive of a publicly traded company
• Mandatory direct public reporting experience for a Nasdaq- or NYSE-listed company
• Experience with public company disclosure processes, audit coordination, financial governance, PCAOB standards, and exchange uplist execution
• Strong operating finance experience in a technology, software, SaaS, or technology-enabled business
Compensation:
Base salary of $175,000 to $225,000, plus 0.05% to 1.0% equity, performance-based vesting, 20% to 40% target bonus, and executive-level benefits.
Remote is acceptable; however, the candidate must be able to travel as needed for capital raising activities, investor meetings, and roadshows.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a finance executive who wants to help shape the next chapter of a mission-driven public company.
***Direct Nasdaq or NYSE public reporting experience is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
