About Us
Phillip Cable Manufacturing is a family-owned defense manufacturer based in Norcross, GA. Our team of approximately 60 people builds mission-critical cable assemblies and wiring harnesses in a facility that holds an active CAGE code and operates under strict defense quality standards. We have been in business since 2013, we have maintained an unbroken track record with our government customers, and we are now expanding into new markets and new capabilities.
What You Will Do
You will own production scheduling — the work that keeps jobs moving, contracts on track, and cash flow healthy. A typical day starts with reviewing the production schedule, walking the floor with the production lead, following up on open items across Procurement, Production, and Quality, and ending with coordination work for company leadership. No two days are exactly alike, but the rhythm is consistent.
From day one, you will learn our production system end-to-end and work directly with company leadership on follow-ups, research, and coordination. You will be the person leadership trusts to follow through on open items and bring them to resolution. As you prove yourself, your responsibilities will expand alongside the business.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of manufacturing coordination, scheduling, or expediting experience
- You can hold people accountable while maintaining strong working relationships, and you stand firm when challenged
- You are organized, proactive, and disciplined about follow-up
- You write and speak clearly and professionally
- You are comfortable with spreadsheets and have experience with MRP or ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- You want to grow with a company and take on expanding responsibility over time

- Defense, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing background
- Experience supporting an executive or business owner
