Why This Role Matters
Merchant onboarding is the first step in delivering a seamless experience on GoKwik’s platform. Accurate and efficient KYC processing ensures faster go-lives, reduced operational delays, and compliance with payment ecosystem requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining onboarding quality while enabling scale.
What You’ll Own
KYC Collection & Coordination
- Reach out to merchants to collect required KYC documents (GST, PAN, bank details, etc.)
- Ensure timely follow-ups to minimise onboarding delays
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and merchants
Preliminary KYC Verification
- Perform initial checks on submitted documents for completeness and accuracy
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and coordinate with merchants to resolve them
- Ensure documents meet basic compliance requirements before submission
- Compile and organise KYC documents in the required format
Process & Data Management
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems, Google Sheets, or CRM tools
- Track onboarding progress and highlight delays or bottlenecks
- Support improvements in KYC workflows and documentation processes
