Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the IT reselling space, preferably with another Value-Added Reseller (VAR) or similar organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing orders, creating and following up on quotes, managing maintenance renewals, submitting for RMAs, obtaining proper licensing, and handling deal registrations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of the IT reselling industry, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Quote Management: Create, manage, and follow up on sales quotes to ensure customer satisfaction and timely responses.
- Maintenance Renewals: Track and manage maintenance renewals, ensuring timely communication with customers and vendors.
- RMA Submissions: Handle Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) by coordinating with customers and vendors to resolve issues promptly.
- Licensing: Obtain and manage proper licensing for products and services, ensuring compliance with vendor requirements.
- Deal Registrations: Manage deal registrations with vendors to secure the best pricing and terms for our customers.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to customers by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to orders, quotes, and renewals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Must be able to problem solve and respond in a timely fashion.
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement of 2-3 years of experience with a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) or similar organization.
- Strong understanding of order processing, quote management, maintenance renewals, RMAs, licensing, and deal registrations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with QuoteWerks is a plus, though not required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
