Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial reporting, compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and ASC 606 standards.
- Manage risk analysis procedures, ensuring robust internal controls such as COSO frameworks and SOX compliance to safeguard assets and uphold integrity.
- Lead treasury management activities including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity optimization to support operational needs.
- Drive business development initiatives through market analysis, merger & acquisition evaluations, and strategic partnerships to expand organizational reach.
- Supervise budgeting processes, expense management, cost control measures, and financial modeling to ensure fiscal discipline across departments.
- Interpret complex financial reports, prepare detailed financial reports for executive review, and communicate insights clearly to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee revenue cycle management processes including billing, collection strategies, and revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 standards.
- Lead regulatory reporting efforts ensuring compliance with governmental accounting standards and other relevant regulations.
- Manage team members responsible for payroll management, cost accounting, supply chain finance, and technical accounting functions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing innovative financial software solutions and enhancing analysis skills within the finance team.
Experience
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles such as CFO or Finance Director within complex organizations or non-profit entities.
- Extensive background in corporate finance including mergers & acquisitions, revenue management, risk management, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting standards such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS; experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition; familiarity with governmental accounting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance frameworks and COSO internal control standards.
- Skilled in financial analysis, forecasting techniques, market analysis, and business development strategies.
- Experience supervising teams responsible for financial report writing and interpretation along with payroll management and expense control.
- Proficiency with advanced financial software tools and systems supporting comprehensive financial modeling and analysis.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of managing cross-functional teams while fostering collaboration across departments.
