The Chief Revenue Officer is responsible for leading all revenue-generating functions and driving unified growth across global markets. This role oversees sales, business development, channel expansion, and revenue operations to ensure consistent, scalable performance. The CRO partners closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Finance to align strategy, optimize execution, and deliver strong commercial outcomes. The CRO leads the development of a global revenue strategy, fosters collaboration across teams, and strengthens both direct and channel sales motions. This role requires a high energy, influential executive with strong commercial acumen, operational rigor, and a focus on measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global revenue strategy aligned with company growth goals.
- Lead and scale a high-performing sales and business development organization across all regions.
- Oversee global channel programs to ensure partner alignment, performance, and expansion.
- Establish forecasting, pricing, and pipeline management processes to improve revenue predictability.
- Partner with Marketing to align campaigns, lead generation, and customer engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with Product Management to ensure market needs inform the product roadmap and launch planning.
- Implement revenue operations processes and tools that enhance visibility, accountability, and productivity across teams.
- Represent the company at major industry events and with strategic customers and partners.
- Support company-wide planning and report revenue performance to executive leadership and the Board.
- Model organizational values and promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Ten or more years of progressive sales leadership experience, including five or more years in revenue-focused executive roles
- Proven success scaling revenue in a B2B technology or manufacturing environment, ideally within the professional AV industry
- Experience leading both direct sales and channel sales organizations across multiple regions
- Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue and margin targets
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications
- Global sales leadership experience in AV, acoustics, or communication technology
- Experience managing distributors, systems integrators, and OEM relationships
- Familiarity with CRM systems and automation platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics
