We are assisting our client in a search for a Regional Chief Financial Officer in Eastern Los Angeles. Our client is a subsidiary of a global, publicly traded consumer packed goods company. The Regional Chief Financial Officer is a senior finance leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the regional field finance function. This role partners closely with executive and operational leadership to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support strategic and transformational initiatives across multiple business units and regions.
The Regional CFO serves as a critical business partner—providing financial insight, guiding operational decisions, and leading high-performing finance teams to support growth, profitability, and long-term value creation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead regional finance operations including FP&A, financial control, accounting, tax, treasury, A/P, A/R, credit & collections, and cost accounting.
- Act as a trusted advisor to regional and area presidents, supporting revenue growth, margin improvement, and working capital optimization.
- Own financial planning, forecasting, and performance reviews; analyze results, explain variances, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Serve as the primary finance lead for regional and business-unit initiatives and transformational programs.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- Partner cross‑functionally with operations, internal audit, compliance, and technical accounting to strengthen controls and improve site performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in cash flow, inventory accuracy, and cost management.
- Build, develop, and mentor high-performing regional finance teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in mid‑to‑senior level finance or accounting leadership roles.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, food production, or complex operational environments preferred.
- Exposure to both union and non‑union environments is a plus.
Travel - Up to 40% travel to regional and operating locations.
