What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced leader to provide strategic, operational, and business leadership across a complex, multi-site diagnostic services program.
This role is accountable for integrating clinical operations with business operations, including financial stewardship, workforce planning, performance management, and delivery of large-scale capital and digital initiatives. You will work closely with physician leaders, clinical teams, and corporate partners to ensure high-quality, safe, and patient-centred care across multiple modalities.
This Is a High-impact Leadership Role With Accountability For
- A large, interdisciplinary workforce across multiple diagnostic programs and sites
- Operational performance, patient flow, and access across inpatient, emergency, and outpatient services
- Development and execution of strategic initiatives, capital projects, and digital transformation
- Financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and business case development
- Quality, safety, and performance improvement through data-driven decision-making
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for a large, unionized and non-unionized interdisciplinary team, including workforce planning, performance management, and labour relations
- Lead operational and business planning to optimize patient flow, capacity, and service delivery across multiple modalities
- Oversee capital planning, procurement, vendor management, and lifecycle management of diagnostic equipment and digital systems
- Drive strategic initiatives and complex projects, including service expansion, system redesign, and technology implementation
- Develop and present business cases, briefing materials, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Establish and monitor KPIs, performance dashboards, and quality metrics to support continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and professional practice standards
- Partner with clinical chiefs, informatics, and corporate teams to advance integrated, sustainable diagnostic services
What You Bring To The Role
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent required
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Clinical background or registration with a regulated health profession (e.g., MRT or equivalent) preferred
Experience
- 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare environment required
- Demonstrated experience leading complex operations and interdisciplinary teams at scale
- Experience leading capital projects, procurement processes, and vendor negotiations
- Experience with digital health, imaging informatics, or healthcare IT systems (e.g., PACS/RIS) preferred
- Proven ability to lead large-scale strategic and operational initiatives
