Summary
The Business Analyst evaluates and improves business processes by gathering requirements, mapping workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending data‑driven solutions. This role partners with stakeholders, supports cross‑functional implementation, monitors results, and provides training on new procedures. Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and experience with process documentation and improvement methodologies are essential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Develop and document detailed process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of risk within current processes.
- Propose and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of process changes.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented process improvements.
- Provide training and support to employees on new processes and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business process management.
- Other assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in process mapping and documentation tools.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with project management and change management is desirable.
