Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and result-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with 2+ years of experience in the interior design industry to manage and oversee the company’s financial health. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, profit analysis, taxation guidance, and strategic decision-making to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee company financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Perform detailed Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis for projects and overall business.
- Calculate and monitor product-wise and project-wise profit margins.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to improve turnover and business growth.
- Develop cost-control measures and improve financial efficiency.
- Guide management on pricing strategies and profitability optimization.
- Handle and supervise GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Prepare and review balance sheets, financial statements, and reports.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping, accounting practices, and financial documentation.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, and tax consultants for compliance and audits.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial risks.
- Support decision-making with financial insights and data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (CA/Inter CA preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in finance roles within the interior design industry (Mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Profit & Loss, balance sheet, and financial reporting.
- In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and financial tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
- Ability to handle financial strategy and operational execution simultaneously.
