Your Role And Responsibilities
We’re looking for a curious, analytical, and people‑oriented professional to join IBM’s Salesforce practice in a
Consulting and Go‑To‑Market (GTM) Associate role. This position is ideal for someone interested in
business analysis, sales operations, consulting, and technology enablement, with strong potential to grow a long-term career in Salesforce and digital transformation.
As an Associate Consultant, you’ll work closely with both our
Consulting and
GTM teams to support sales processes, client deliverables, internal operations, and readiness activities. You’ll gain real exposure to how IBM designs, delivers, and communicates Salesforce solutions that help organizations transform the way they serve their customers, employees, citizens, and partners.
What You’ll Do
- Support consulting and GTM activities, including research, preparation of client and internal deliverables
- Develop presentations, reports, demos, and Salesforce-related assets for client engagements and sales pursuits
- Conduct industry, account, and competitive research to support consulting projects and business development efforts
- Help prepare client-facing materials, such as user stories, process flows, documentation, and solution overviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, delivery, and technical groups to understand end-to-end Salesforce solution delivery
- Contribute to problem-solving discussions and help translate business needs into structured consulting outputs
- Learn how Salesforce technology supports digital transformation and build foundational skills in CRM, strategy, business analysis, and consulting methodologies
- Learn how AI agents and automation can improve customer and user experiences on the Salesforce platform

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Skills & Experience
- Recently graduated from Business, Commerce, Management, Technology, or related programs
- 0–2 years of experience (internships, co-ops, or early career experience in consulting, business analysis, sales, or operations is an asset)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills shown through academic or professional work
- Comfortable working with data, research, and digital tools (Salesforce/CRM exposure is a bonus but not required)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for problem solving and technology
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view
- Able to translate business requirements into clear, structured technical solutions and actionable deliverables
