In a nutshell…
We are looking for a sharp, tech-native Operations Executive to help scale a purpose-led marketing advisory consultancy. This is not a traditional admin role: you’ll be the operational engine behind the business - keeping internal systems running smoothly, building workflows that make us faster, and using automation and AI tools to create capacity where it does not yet exist.
What you’ll be doing…
Working closely with the Chief Product Officer, you will support business operations, compliance, systems, and tooling and you’ll be the guardian of our processes and standards as we grow.
If you see a manual process and immediately think about how to improve it, this role was written for you.
- Own and improve internal business processes, spotting inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions.
- Build and maintain workflows for onboarding, document control, file management, and internal ways of working.
- Maintain and develop template and reusable-asset libraries (e.g., standard documents and internal playbooks).
- Support operational reporting and light performance tracking for internal metrics.
- Manage and continuously improve the business tech stack (project tools, CRM, file storage, collaboration platforms).
- Automate repetitive tasks to save time, reduce errors, and increase consistency using no/low-code and AI tooling where appropriate.
- Support day-to-day compliance and governance (e.g., GDPR, document retention, policies and procedures).
- Coordinate suppliers and new-starter/offboarding processes, ensuring access, set-up, and records are handled appropriately.
About you…
- Proven early-career experience in operations, project coordination, or a similar role (ideally in a consultancy, agency, or start-up).
- Strong organisational instincts: you manage your workload, spot problems early, and follow through without needing chasing.
- Confident with modern business tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace) and comfortable learning new systems fast.
- Hands-on experience building automations or workflows (no/low-code experience is a plus).
- Comfortable using AI tools as part of daily work to move faster and improve quality.
- Good working knowledge of compliance basics, including GDPR and good document/record-keeping practice.
- Excellent written English and high attention to detail you create documents that are clear, accurate, and client-ready.
- Commercially minded and pragmatic: you understand that in a consultancy, time and quality both matter.
