Position Overview
The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring product availability aligns with mid? to long-term forecasted demand. This role partners closely with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to develop accurate forecasts, analyze supply and demand trends, and support data-driven decision-making across product categories. The analyst will play a key role in reporting, risk analysis, and overall supply chain optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and communicate demand forecasts with cross-functional stakeholders
- Manage mid- to long-term sell-in/sell-out forecasts (AP2), including buffer logic and adjustments based on leadership direction
- Perform risk and opportunity simulations using factors such as purchase orders, sell-out trends, promotions, and seasonality
- Analyze weekly Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI) data to identify demand fluctuations and recommend corrective actions
- Propose supply allocation strategies across accounts to maximize overall sales performance
- Consolidate and publish weekly AP2 reporting, including week-over-week changes, risks, and financial impacts
- Extract and reconcile data from system tools for channel inventory analysis
- Monitor product arrival schedules and manage purchase order confirmations
- Track operational KPIs and recommend inventory aging and depletion strategies
- Support supply chain projects and complete ad-hoc analysis (reporting, dashboards, automation, etc.)
- Collaborate with team members and provide backup support or training as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in a related field
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
- SAP experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with and present to senior leadership
- Experience working in a multicultural or global business environment
Background & Experience Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Planning, Finance, or related disciplines
- Experience in demand planning, inventory allocation, or financial analysis
- Ability to work independently and deliver actionable, data-driven recommendations
- Proven delivery against supply chain objectives
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to resolve supply chain reliability issues
