The Team
The Central Operations Team work directly for Broadfield UKs Chief Operating Officer (COO) and they support fee earning departments in providing data, administration support, effective billing and work in progress (WIP) management services to the firm, reporting services, strategy and transformation policies and implementation and ad-hoc management and coordination support.
The Role
The role of the Business Operations Analyst is to directly support the COO with the data gathering and modelling of firmwide or departmental specific initiatives, ad-hoc business support for Finance and the fee earning departments as required. The successful candidate will be under the guidance of the COO, but with stakeholders across the firm in relation to data and processes. The role is central to business performance, and a candidate will build comprehensive knowledge of the firm, it’s structure, and the financial data that drives it.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance and Strategy
- Report on behalf of Finance on Key departmental metrics: Revenue, WIP, Lock-up, and Chargeable Hours against budget
- Support basic data requests as needed – including financial modelling
Operations
- Work in conjunction with the COO in extracting useful data insights from data
- Support the documentation or modelling of new transformation projects and policies introduced to the firm.
- Maintain the integrity of the reporting systems
- Build a strong understanding of the key systems: Elite3, InTapp and PowerBI
- Provide insight into business efficiency, bottlenecks, and area for improvement
Other Experience/Skills
- Previous Operations or Business Analyst Experience
- Proven ability to work independently
- Understanding of Ai and innovation
- Experience within professional services (Law Firm is desirable)
- Exceptional IT skills across the Microsoft Office Suite, including Powerpoint and excelling in MS XL.
- Knowledge of PowerBI
- Elite3 and InTapp experience desirable)
