Job Description
Job title: Team Lead – Business Operations (Customer Order Management)
Job location: Pune
As Team Lead – Business Operations, you will be responsible for achieving functional excellence in Customer Order Management. This includes managing the process from Order Booking to Closure. Additionally, you will drive business productivity and Operational efficiency across the organisation. Furthermore, you will adopt technological advancements to automate processes. Manage engagement for Business in areas of Order Management & Invoicing (Contracts Delivery Operations) and work with global partner to finds areas to reduce complexity, standardise and improve the way of execution. You will report into Manager – Business Operations and will have a hybrid working. We will ask to provide strategic leadership to assigned organisation.
You will be reporting to MANAGER GEBS BUSINESS OPERATIONS.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead / manage Business operations assignments (Customer order booking), which are moderate to high in complexity, following all relevant procedures.
- Provide leadership to the assigned team to lead efficiency in execution.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary technical, financial, and commercial information.
- Manage business process transitions and find areas to reduce complexity in building the tasks and standardising the way of execution.
- Ensure that you adequately document all audits (internal/external), and deal with risk areas promptly.
- Engage with multiple partners to identify opportunities for increased engagement, seek feedback on deliverables and to improve overall engagement
- Provide deliverables of good quality on time and on budget with high levels of Internal Customer Satisfaction, ensuring the team delivers them.
- Manage use of all resources and ensure accurate capacity planning.
- Manage resources and to assign right skills to the work.
- Work with required regional & domestic partners to ensure compliance & smooth processing of the activities/processes assigned.
- Manage & use the Business ops resources throughout different Regions for required support
- Use resources to ensure the team to meet process requirements defined in Standard Processes also respects the Quality Management System processes.
- Manage team performance to develop team capability and motivate the team. Create developmental plans for any identified gaps.
- Support best practice sharing and knowledge transfer among teams to improve competency of whole team.
- Lead the teams in Operations including third-party resources to comply with RA standards.
- Assess and develop competency and capabilities among the team. Encourage multi-skilling within the team to ensure better use.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree. Diploma / degree in Business Administration
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in Business Operations.
- Typically requires 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process lifecycle (Projects / contracts delivery or fulfilment)
- Have exposure to Global Work style, engagement with clients while sitting at remote locations.
- Willing to work in flexible business shifts / global time zones including NA/LA time zone to lead partner connect
- Flexibility to travel, 10% of the time, within and outside India (if required) to meet functional, client/ stakeholder teams
Preferred
- Master's in Business Administration
- Experience in technological adoption for process automation, optimization as well enhancements for increased efficiency with sustained / improved customer satisfaction.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt & above).
