Key Responsibilities
- Platform-Wide Operations Leadership: Own operational governance across all platform business lines, serving as the central integrator between Product, Technology, Finance, Tax, Legal, Procurement, Accounting, and external rights organizations.
- Financial Operations & Forecast Execution: Operationalize budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Lead monthly revenue and cost pacing reviews, perform variance analyses, and identify financial risks.
- Vendor & Spend Governance: Own vendor strategy and Statement of Work (SOW) development. Coordinate cross-functional approvals for vendor engagements and drive cost efficiency across the ecosystem.
- Deal Operations & Partner Management: Oversee commercial agreements and strategic partner relationships. Track contractual obligations, validate advertising revenue and viewership reporting, and resolve partner inquiries regarding payments and operational performance.
- Transactional & Reporting Operations: Own end-to-end transaction integrity, leading revenue tracking, reconciliation, and reporting workflows across all monetization models.
- Tax, PRO & Compliance: Partner with Tax and Finance to support territory expansion, coordinate tax registration, and oversee the operational execution of Performing Rights Organization (PRO) obligations, including royalty calculations and usage tracking.
Experience & Skills Required
- Experience: Proven track record managing operational budgets, vendor spend, forecasting, accruals, and financial reporting within a fast-paced environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital platform and streaming business models (AVOD, FAST, SVOD, TVOD) across connected TV and digital ecosystems. Connected TV or entertainment technology background is strongly preferred.
- Financial & Data Rigor: Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling. Experience managing revenue-share calculations, royalty reporting, and transactional reconciliation with extreme attention to detail. Experience with ERP or procurement systems is a plus.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across Commercial, Product, Finance, and Legal teams to translate complex business strategies into executable workflows.
- Communication & Organization: Excellent program management skills to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously, with the ability to present operational insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
