Wasak is seeking a Business Operations & Growth Associate to help drive company growth while also improving the way the business operates day to day.
This person will support sales and business development efforts, help identify and follow up on new opportunities, assist with customer communication, and work closely with management to improve internal processes, workflows, scheduling, documentation, and project execution.
The right candidate is organized, proactive, professional, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a growing service business. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to make a direct impact on the company’s growth, efficiency, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Support sales and business development efforts to help grow the company
- Assist with identifying new customer opportunities, leads, and potential markets
- Follow up with prospective and existing customers regarding services, proposals, and opportunities
- Help prepare proposals, service agreements, customer communications, and follow-up materials
- Maintain and organize sales activity, customer information, open opportunities, and follow-up tasks
- Support customer relationship management and help ensure strong communication with clients
- Assist with marketing, outreach, lead tracking, and customer follow-up efforts
- Help management identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and new markets
Operations & Business Scaling
- Work with management to improve internal systems, workflows, and operating procedures
- Help streamline scheduling, project tracking, customer communication, and service coordination
- Assist with creating repeatable processes that allow the company to scale more efficiently
- Track open tasks, customer requests, internal priorities, and project deadlines to ensure follow-through
- Coordinate between customers, vendors, technicians, and management
- Help improve documentation, reporting, recordkeeping, and internal communication
- Support process improvement initiatives across sales, service, operations, and administration
- Assist with special projects related to company growth, organization, and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Professional, reliable, and self-motivated
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone, email, and in person
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep tasks moving forward
- Interest in sales, business development, operations, and process improvement
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, or similar tools
- Ability to work independently while also supporting a team
- Willingness to learn about industrial and commercial water treatment
- Prior experience in sales support, business development, operations, project coordination, customer service, or administrative support is preferred
- Experience in a service business, construction, facilities, HVAC, water treatment, or related industry is a plus but not required

This position will include time in the office as well as time in the field when needed to meet with customers, support sales efforts, and better understand company operations. A company work truck will be provided.
